Weskolez — Sales Policy

All prices are in USD. Every service is paid in full before work starts or files are delivered, except EP / album projects, which use a deposit. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms on this page.

Beat leases
A nonexclusive lease lets you release a song on the beat while I keep selling it. An exclusive takes the beat off the market for good.

- Delivery: files are emailed within 48 hours of payment.
- Stems: not guaranteed with an exclusive. They're available for some beats, so ask before you buy.
- Upgrades: you can upgrade a nonexclusive lease to exclusive at any time for the $600 difference, as long as the beat hasn't sold exclusively to someone else. Once your song passes 100,000 streams, you'll need to upgrade to keep it up. Reply to your delivery email and I'll send the invoice.
- Earlier leases: if a beat sells exclusively, nonexclusive leases sold before then stay valid under their own terms.
- Not allowed on any lease: reselling or giving away the beat itself, or claiming you produced it.
Mix & master ($300 per song)
You send stems, and I send back a mixed and mastered track ready for streaming.
- What to send: WAV stems (24-bit preferred), each starting at bar 1, the BPM, a rough mix if you have one, and 1–2 reference tracks.
- Track count: up to 40 stems per song. Larger sessions are quoted first.
- Turnaround: first mix within 7 days of receiving stems and payment.
- Revisions: 3 rounds included. A round is one list of notes sent together. If it still isn't right after 3 rounds, I'll set up a call with you to find where the vision is misaligned before we go further. Extra rounds after that are $50 each.
- Not included: re-recording, heavy vocal tuning or editing, and arrangement changes. These are quoted separately.
- You receive: a mastered WAV, a mastered MP3, and an instrumental version.
Full song production ($500 per song)
You bring the stems or the idea, and I help turn it into a complete song, mixed and mastered.
- Includes: production on your stems or idea, arrangement, a recording plan for your vocals, and the mix & master above.
- What to send: your stems, a demo (a voice memo is fine) or the idea, plus references and lyrics if you have them.
- Turnaround: finished song within 14 days of receiving your vocals.
- Revisions: 3 rounds on the production and 3 rounds on the mix. After that, the same realignment call as above, then extra rounds at $50 each.
Custom beat ($1,200 per song)
I make a beat from scratch to your requests, take the song to a finished master, and you get an exclusive license.
- Demo phase: I send 2–3 demos. You pick a direction, and revision rounds start from there.
- Includes: the custom beat, full song production and mix & master as above, and exclusive license terms on the beat.
- Revisions: 3 rounds once a direction is picked. After that, the same realignment call as above, then extra rounds at $50 each.
- The beat: made for your song and never sold to anyone else.
EP / album collaboration (from $2,000)
Multi-song projects are quoted after a free scoping call.
- Quote: a written quote listing the songs, the services per song, the timeline and the total.
- Payment: 50% deposit to book the project, and the other 50% before final masters are delivered.
- Timeline: set per project in the quote.
- Changes in scope: added songs or services are quoted at the per-song rates above.
Payment, refunds and cancellations
Payment is taken in USD through the weskolez.com checkout, by PayPal or credit card. Card payments are processed securely by PayPal, so you don't need a PayPal account to pay by card.
- Beats: no refunds once files are delivered, since they can't be returned.
- Services, before work starts: full refund if you cancel.
- Services, after work starts: no refund, but you keep everything delivered up to that point.
- EP / album deposits: non-refundable once work has started.
- Missed delivery: if I miss a stated turnaround by more than 7 days without telling you, you can cancel for a full refund.
Ownership, credit and general terms
You own your vocals, your lyrics and the masters of your song. I'm credited as producer and keep authorship of the beats I make.
- Publishing: on leases, exclusives and custom beats, I keep 50% of the writer's share of the song's composition, collected through SOCAN. We'll sign a split sheet for each song.
- Credit: "prod. weskolez" (or "mixed by weskolez" for mix & master) in the title or credits on every platform.
- Portfolio: I may share short clips of finished work, but only after your release date.
- Communication: I reply within 48 hours, by email or DM. If anything comes up with your order (a delay, a file issue, a question about direction), I'll reach out to you personally.
- Changes to this policy: apply to new orders only.
